| Summary, etc. | Historia de la vida del buscón, llamado Don Pablos, ejemplo de vagamundos y espejo de tacaños sigue los caminos desventurados de un pícaro. Francisco de Quevedo y Villegas compuso hacia 1604 esta novela que se inspira en las anteriores novelas picaresca: la inaugural y anónima El Lazarillo de Tormes y La vida del pícaro Guzmán de Alfarache, de Mateo Alemán. Pero a diferencia de las anteriores se trata esta vez de una versión mucho más cruel y despiadada, desbordante de ingenio y malicia, que funciona como espejo cóncavo de la sociedad de entonces, un espejo construido desde la perspectiva de la clase nobiliaria y cataléctica a la que perteneció Quevedo. |
