La Universidad, esa vetusta institución, que cumple ocho siglos de su fundación, ha entrado hoy en crisis. Dice Bernardino Montejano, la Universidad ha sido contaminada en nuestro tiempo por la llamada ´´filosofía de la exterioridad´´… Esta filosofía que se opone a la virtud de la veracidad y que se opone a la virtud de la veracidad y que, a través de la mentira, la simulación y una renovada hipocresía, engaña, distorsiona lo real y presenta las cosas como no son. Así como el hábito no hace el monje, aunque lo ayude y proteja, tampoco la mera adscripción a una universidad transforma por arte de magia en universitario a una persona que ingresa a ella.<br/>Sólo será un autentico universitario quien viva el secular espíritu de la Universidad. Y la prueba de su autenticidad la puede comprobar en nuestros días si las falsificaciones le duelen, si se manifiesta contra las nuevas formas de hipocresía y si sigue viviendo con entereza, aunque sea como universitario individual y ambulante o atrincherado en los bastiones universitarios que todavía existen los valores de la universidad de siempre e impregnado con ellos los ámbitos de su influencia.<br/> |
