"El presente texto es una compilación de los trabajos publicados bajo la columna que ahora da título al libro por el periodista navita de Sabana de la Mar Eleuterio de León Berroa (1895-1945), bajo el seudónimo de Edel Lede. La referida columna vio la luz en el periódico El Independiente fundado por el autor en Moca antes de 1916 y editado posteriormente en 1921 en Santo Domingo. "Bromeando" se publicó además en El Eco de la Opinión ... El período que cubren los escritos bajo firma de Edel Lede entre los años 1917 y 1928, tiene como impronta la intervención militar norteamericana, el proceso de transición entre la desocupación y la emergencia de la dictadura de Trujillo"--Page 13. |
