Este documento abarca distintas vertientes la emigración de Libertps Afroestadounidenses en 1824-1825, patrocinada por el invasor presidente haitiano Boyer; la colonia de esclavos de escocés norteamericano Zephaniah Kingsley o emigración esclavistas, y la migración de las Antillas Menores o Emigración Antillas de color. Este libro destaca también los primeros responsables como fideicomisarios del establecimiento en Puerto Plata de la Iglesia Metodista Wesleyana, primera iglesia protestante en el país, misionera y presbiteriana, cuyas referencias documentales se remontan a la adquisición de su asiento el 4 de noviembre de 1835. |
